INVITRO MICROBIAL ASSAYS

  1. Methods of test for microbiological examination of cosmetics and cosmetic raw materials as per IS 14648: 2005.
  2. Antibacterial efficacy of soaps ( solid cakes and liquid soaps) as per IS standards
  3. Antidandruff testing of the shampoo formulations.
  4. For products which are insoluble in water a new test protocol is developed for antimicrobial testing.
  5. Deodorant testing
  6. Anti acne testing.

SUBSTANTIVITY TESTING

This testing is carried out to check the retentivity of the active on the skin in order to provide germicidal protection to the skin. This type of testing is done on healthy volunteers for personal care products. Our proficiency is in using this test method for antibacterial, antidandruff, deodorants and anti acne products,
